Having just celebrated its seventh anniversary, this Food Network and Cooking Channel sponsored event uses one of the world’s greatest foodie cities, New York!
The New York City Wine and Food Festival brings together chefs, mixologists and foodies for 4 days each fall to eat, drink and end world hunger. From October 15 to the 18, rooftop feasts, all-you-can-eat tastings, cooking classes and even a jazzy midnight brunch, is sure to entertain and crave every appetite.
The event, partnered with No Kid Hungry and the Food Bank for New York City, donates 100 percent –upwards of $1 million- of the net proceeds, so you’ll be eating for a great cause. While there are several ticketed events, there are still plenty of options, like wine tastings and cake decorating classes available. You can also expect to see some big named chefs and celebs interested in expanding your palate.
You’ll drink too much, stuff your face, and party. Why not check it out? For more information and a schedule of events visit http://nycwff.org/
