Prospect Park Turkey Trot

Looking for something fun to do the morning of Thanksgiving? Quick off your holiday by burning some calories before you gain some extra pounds at dinner! Join one of Brooklyn’s most popular races.

The Turkey Trot is a 5-mile race through Prospect Park. The race begins at 9:00 am, so you are guaranteed to make it home in time for turkey. Half of the proceeds from the Turkey Trot will benefit bran new PPTC Grants Program, which provides funds for organizations such as Prospect Park Track Club’s whose mission is to promote running in Brooklyn. The Turkey Trot starts on Center Drive and ends near the Oriental Pavilion, where you will be given your medal for completing the marathon. If you are on the top three, you’ll receive a holiday pie!

The trains nearby are B, Q, Franklin Ave S to Prospect Park; F, G to 15th St–Prospect Park; 2, 3 to Grand Army Plaza.
