We’re still in the process of the rental process but it’s less than ideal and not successful. Corey (who was introduced to us as our agent Lakeino’s “boss”) has said a lot of things that either aren’t true or that he didn’t mean, and then tried to get personal with us in order to make us feel bad and/or give in to the scenario (mostly in the form of incredibly lengthy text messages.) He felt comfortable enough to say that we seem like bad tenants and further insulted me, but then that he has “bent over backwards” to make sure we can sign the lease (that we no longer want in the first place) …sounds like he’s just trying to get paid. Typical. Understandable. Not appreciated. When we put a deposit down on a unit, he told us we’d have to go through an interview process with the management before our applications could be fully processed. After we submitted paperwork, we received an email from the closing manager, Subrina, suddenly saying that we were approved, and that the “interview” is actually the lease signing. On top of not being able to get our deposit back after being approved, we haven’t been allowed to be in any sort of contact with the management before signing which we weren’t notified of until it was too late. In other words, if we find out that the management is awful upon meeting/researching them, we will still lose our deposit if we back out for this reason. Awful communication with us and especially amongst eachother. Sad excuse for a trendy business. Heard you were legitimate but should’ve scrolled through reviews first.
