MySpace NYC Real Estate will be opening its new headquarters at 96 Bogart. The new Bushwick office is located on a 7,500-square-foot ground-floor retail space leased by M Properties Group.

M Properties Group announced the deal on a press release; where they revealed the asking rent for the location was $55 per square foot. The length of the deal was not disclosed, but M Properties described it as “long term.”

96 Bogart sits a block from the Morgan Avenue L train stop and will house MySpace’s offices and a showroom. The brokerage is planning to consolidate its northern Brooklyn offices —Williamsburg, Greenpoint and Bushwick —into the new space, while the Crown Heights and Lefferts Gardens offices will remain open.

M Properties Group representatives, Lane Sanders and Max Lu, described the new office as “one of the largest high-value retail spaces to be occupied by a real estate services company.”

Managing partner, Shawn Mullahy, confirmed the transaction and added “96 Bogart’s proximity to the vibrant office and entertainment district off the Morgan L [stop] allows our employees, agents, clients and customers to enjoy everything that makes Bushwick such a unique neighborhood while providing easy access to the entire north Brooklyn and Ridgewood, Queens market,”

He also said the size of the new space “allows us to become a home for industry and community-based events.” MySpace NYC’s new space in the two-story, 15,000-square-foot commercial property features 12-foot-high ceilings and exposed wood beams, per the marketing materials. The remaining 7,500 square feet at the building, comprising the entire second floor, remains on the market.
