Brooklyn’s beer and wine festival is back! The Tap+Cork Brooklyn Beer & Wine Fest returns this August at the Restoration Plaza with expanded space as well as two new free parties leading to the event.
Tai Allen, Tap+Cork creative director, says the festival will feature around 30 beers on tap and 25 wines as well as snacks from local eateries.
“The most important thing for us, while it’s a beverage event, is driving traffic to the neighborhood,” Allen said.
This time the festival will take over a larger section of Restoration Plaza with additional space for vendors, board-games and non-alcoholic activities at the West Plaza.
The fest kicks off with two free #TapNightOut parties on Aug. 4 and 5, while the event itself on August 6, is ticketed.
There will be food trucks stations outside Bed-Stuy’s Casablanca Cocktail Lounge on Aug. 4 and the celebration will happen at the Malcolm X Boulevard bar.
The August 5 festivity will be a Latin-themed party. According to Allen, it will have games, food and more. For more details visit the Tap+Cork website.
During the fourth edition of the Tap+Cork festival, DJs will spin tunes and there will also be live performances from emerging artists.
Tickets start at $25 and include admission, a sampling cup and 15 vouchers for 2 oz. and 3 oz. tastings of wine and beer.
